stellazio SG yeah, apparently some internet gaming module was the hottest among guys for the electives. i didn't knwo bout it, till one of em told me. its simple, go in the comp lab, play games with ur classmates and lecturer, and write a review at the end of the semester.
elindra SG I did a search for Cane Toad Recipe Apparently there is a cocktail called Cane Toad and some of those kids seeking a high posting how to extract Cane Toad venom to be used for a high
Wanda SG Yes, I believe my friend did that...signed up on the list that's pinned on the notice board.
the Bear SG oh.. i think the kitten is now at an interview.. should get the job... starts immediately.. she says the choice of going to Cambodia is now out of her hands
hisoka SG my friends did wine tasting and ice skating as electives durin the student exchange...............
honeymouse SG I don't think we can get any over here in Melbourne either. Hmmm... may be I can try cane toads.... "Yi du gung du"
elindra SG Apparently the recipe the kid posted up goes thru a further process so that you can smoke it and get high
choco B SG My era was similar to Wanda's. 7am queues to sign up! They digitalized the registration process but it was not available on the www, only in NUS server .... so we queued to use the lab's computers So I guess it is still an improvement , one version up from the pen on paper method. I never had any application rejected though, I don't know if this is reflective of a better registration system or not. (Yes despite the queueing) It wasn't too bad... although now I wonder in the pre-PSP days, how we managed to while away the time from 7am till the lab's opening time.
ShrodingersCat SG yeahhhh now everything is through PORTALLL i feel so connected but some of my friends who totally dont like to internet have some problems electives! my favourite was Astronomy 101 which I took with the physics student and spectacularly barely passed.
stellazio SG huh? only take core modules? what happened to those kinda fun modules, like languages etc.
honeymouse SG I only have one tick bite on my limb, the rest is just rash from the infection. I did have some rash on my face but it's not as bad as the rest of the body. I don't think the one on my face will leave scar (hope not).
